Manny Sanchez Jr was born on January 6, 1988 in Oxnard, California. He is 37 years old and enjoys spending time with his family, friends and community. He's an artist, musician and singer; everything creative!
Manny was born with a rare disorder called Sturge Weber Syndrome which affects the left side of his brain. The left side of the brain is associated with logic, analytical thinking and language processing, so he does not have the ability to read or write, or have the comprehension of a full functioning adult.
But he doesn't let that stop him! In fact, Manny has more motivation and desire to live his dreams than the average person his age. Despite having suffered from seizures most of his life, and other serious conditions, Manny has an amazingly positive attitude which is contagious. He works on his art skills every day and is constantly expanding his creativity.
Since the right side of his brain has more function, he is blessed to have gifts associated with creativity, intuition and social skills. Manny has a gift to talk and connect with people through the heart. He has been successful in marketing himself and his artwork since he was a young adult, and has sold many pieces throughout the years. He is a warrior and SUPERHERO!
Manny is a self-taught artist that works in various mediums including ink, pencil and acrylic paint. He is inspired by his late mother Teresa Janet Sanchez (1955 - 2017), who was also an artist, and his sister Monica Sanchez, who is an artist and muralist out of Oxnard, California.
Although Manny is a fully disabled adult, he still has the desire to be productive and earn his own income, so he appreciates every opportunity to create for his customers and followers. Please reach out and submit your request for a personalized piece, or to purchase one from his portfolio.
